Other Ways To Give

Your support is vital to our continued success.  As you consider how you might contribute a lasting and valuable gift to St. Michael’s Lakeside School, please remember the following opportunities for giving:

• Annual Fund Campaign – Annual giving is the custom of making a yearly gift or pledge payment to SMLS.  Your gift allows us to continue our mission of providing Catholic education for tomorrow’s community leaders.  All contributions to the Annual Fund Campaign are tax deductible. 
• Matching Gifts – Many corporations recognize and are willing to support private education through a matching gift program.  Be sure to check with your employer. 
• Planned Giving – Planned gifts include bequests through wills, gifts of life insurance policies, annuities, real estate, stocks and bonds, or in naming SMLS as a beneficiary of a trust.  Many planned giving opportunities are beneficial to the donor as well as the school recipient. 
• Memorial Giving – Memorial gifts offer an opportunity to honor a relative, friend, business associate, etc.  Any special occasion – birthday, anniversary, graduation, etc. – is a time for remembering.  During a bereavement period, friends often see this as an appropriate means to express sympathy.  
• Endowment Fund – The goal of this fund is to build it up over time so that the annual earnings can have a meaningful impact on the school’s and parish’s operating budget and scholarship funding. 
• Other – Save your Campbell’s Labels for Education, Kemps and Land O’ Lakes Milkcaps for Schools, General Mills Boxtops for Education, used ink cartridges and cell phones, and aluminum cans for us!  We get cash for these items.  One person’s trash can be our treasure and, additionally, helps our environment.
