St. Michael's parish school has been serving Lakeside families since 1923.  In 1994, our parish and school community made a major investment.  Determined to give Catholic education an opportunity to grow, it purchased the former Lakeside School building.  Investors took a leap of faith, trusting that God would provide resources to ensure a thriving school community in the new facility. 

Year after year, their prayers have been answered, in part through the St. Michael's Lakeside School (SMLS) Annual Fund.  This special campaign raises funds for projects beyond the day-to-day operational expenses.  It provides the "extras" that make SMLS an attractive option for families and an important part of the Lakeside neighborhood.  Your contributions make it possible. 

The SMLS Annual Fund benefits school families, parishioners and members of the Lakeside neighborhood by enhancing education, encouraging Christian values and promoting a healthy, safe environment.  It helps ensure a bright future for all. 

Over the past few year, the Annual Fund has helped SMLS:

• Resurface the playground, creating a safer, more pleasant environment for students and neighboring families
• Upgrade technology
• Fund staff development and enrichment
• Update the school kitchen to meet health and saftey codes
• Replace deteriorating window blinds
• Purchase physical education equipment
• Complete numerous other projects.
